Student Support provides one-on-one support, including interventions, advocacy, and non-clinical case management services for Reed students who are experiencing ranging from minor to significant difficulties related to social, mental health, physical health, family emergencies, and other areas of concern. Student Support works with students individually to create a comprehensive plan for addressing hardships and connect to appropriate support resources.

Shania Siron, Ed.D (she/her) has eight years of experience in higher education ranging from caring for academically at-risk community college students to supporting adult learners' professional and academic goals. With a Doctorate in Education from Oregon State University, Shania is dedicated to researching student persistence and adult development. Her strengths include collaborating with Reed's faculty and staff to address students' needs and analyzing data to implement strategies to address systemic barriers to student success.
